You will need to link your email account before using any of Harbor's features. The email connection allows Harbor to see when you receive new lead, and to send follow-up emails on your behalf.
Step 1: Log In and Go to the Email Link Tab
Navigate to harborplan.com/advisors and log in using your Harbor Plan credentials. You can find the "Email Link" tab on the bottom of the left-hand navigation menu.
Step 2. Authenticate with LPL
Click the "Link Another Account" button. When you are presented with email providers, you will select Microsoft Exchange.
Here you will need to provide your user name and password. Please note that the password needed here is the password you use to log into your company computer/network. You'll also need to plug in the following values into the "Advanced Settings" portion of the form. Just as with the password, the username field should be filled with the username you use to log into your company computer/network.
Exchange username: corp\your_network_username
Exchange server: https://webmail.lplfinancial.com/ews/exchange.asmx
Once your email is successfully linked, you should be returned to the Email Link tab and see your email listed. If the status is not immediately listed as "running", please wait 10 seconds to allow the email to sync before refreshing your browser.
